Founded in 2008 by Mike Reynolds, the No Worries Classic is a team sporting clay event that raises money and awareness for Wonders & Worries. Proceeds raised go directly to impact the mission of Wonders & Worries – to provide professional support to children through a parent's illness.
The event features 20 teams of 5 shooters who solicit donations and pledges for the 60 clays they hope to hit on the day of the event. Each shooter is responsible for raising or giving a minimum of $500 ($2,500 per team) to support their entry in the event. Shooters raising a minimum of $5,000 and teams raising a minimum of $10,000 are eligible for top fundraising prizes. Individual and team clay shooting prizes are awarded as well. Honorary chairs for the event this year are Denise and Jerry Conway.
Wonders & Worries does not receive any government funding and relies upon the generosity of individuals, businesses, private and corporate foundations, and special events to carry out the mission.
